The North American part of the PUBG Global Invitation has been released, with all competitors receiving information as to how they will be divided on 24 May.
The tally of participants is quite significant, with 320 contenders throwing in their lot in the PUBG GI. All groups will be broken into 16 lobbies. The 10 top teams from each lobby will get a chance to move onto the next round as soon as they have finished their four games due in each lobby.
The second leg of the event will start shortly after, on 25 May, where the said 10 teams as per lobby will have a chance to advance to the further stages of the competition on 26 and 27 May.
By the time the third round commences, only 80 teams will be left to compete in four lobbies. The next round will be held in Burbank, California with 20 teams competing in total. The teams will vie for a total prize pool of $150,000 with the winner claiming $32,000.
The Burbank showdown will be held on 22-24 June and finally, the global competition will continue in Berlin on 25-29 July.
The PUBG Global Invitational will draft ten teams from Europe, North America, and Asia. Specific countries, such as Korea, China, and Japan will forward two teams, too.
