By Nikola Petrov Hearthstone 13 Jun 2018 368 views

The brand new Esports Arena in Oakland is officially one of the stops on the Hearthstone Championship Tour.

The event is planned for July 14-15 at the newly established California venue. The competition will host up to 256 contenders to fight over the standard $15,000 in cash prizes and the 191 Hearthstone competitive points up for grabs.

The initial battles will be nine rounds of 256-player single-elimination Swiss bracket until the top 8 are narrowed down. All matches are best-of-five Conquest matches in Standard.

Decklists will be made public prior to the tournament start and the whole event will be administered through the smash.gg infrastructure.

HCT Oakland is played in the Americas server and all rounds will be broadcasted online.

All contenders must secure their pass through Matcherino no later than 11:59 p.m. PDT on July 12.
