Epic Games’ battle royale title Fortnite has achieved significant financial results in February, new information by SuperData shows. According to the data-trawling website, Fortnite has managed to rake in $126 million in profits in February alone.

This comes on top of another significant achievement seeing Fortnite generate $25 million within the first month of its launch as an iOS title. According to Sensor Tower, a mobile marketing intelligence firm, with the scheduled arrival of the Android version, Fortnite may generate as much as $500 million in revenue.

The game’s official Android release has not yet been announced. SuperData research also pointed out that Fortnite has outstripped Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds in terms of revenue as well.

Nevertheless, PUBG managed a similar revenue stream in February with a total of $103 million in sales. Fortnite has had a somewhat marked advantage, with the game simultaneously hitting multiple platforms at launch, including PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The addition of iOS and Android are only going to incrementally add to its revenue.

However, PUBG is also scheduled to enter the mobile market, as we reported in another story. Earlier, we also wrote about the state of battle royale games across the globe, based on NewZoo data.
