NetherRealm is running the ProSeries for a second time. Skilled fighters from across the globe will fight for the big title and a record-breaking prize pool.

Injustice 2 is a popular fighting game from the creators of the Mortal Kombat series, pitting popular DC Comics characters such as Batman, Suerman, and the Flash against one another. The game is also a popular eSport with a thriving community, as well as many fans worldwide.

Injustice’s premiere competition – the ProSeries is making it’s second run this year. The tournament is sponsored by Samsung and Simple Mobile, and the total prize money on the line are $150,000.
That’s a fifty per cent increase from last year’s grand prize, witch went into the hands of Sonicfox.

Competitors from four all over the world will battle it out until only 16 remain. They are composed like so:

  • The top 12 players from the Injustice 2 ProSeries season
  • One independent competition winner from Canada
  • One independent competition winner from Europe
  • One independent competition winner from Latin America
  • One special Last chance qualifier

The qualifier events will be open to live audiences and online spectators, so fans can follow every step of the journey and cheer their favourites. The list includes:

  • Combo Breaker, 25-27 May
  • CEO Fighting game championships, 29 June – 1 July
  • Viennality, July 7-8
  • EVO 3-5 August
  • SCR 2018, 14-16 September
