The China Sports Venue Association now plans to introduce a series of official venues all across the country to cater to eSports fans and host professional events. The goal is to develop an infrastructure for future eSports competitions and meetings, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The organisation also plans to adapt those venues as multi-purpose facilities that may fit the needs of other forms of entertainment apart from eSports. The association will concern itself with providing facilities and initiatives for the training of eSports athletes and creating unique content as well as organising specific pow-wows for eSports enthusiasts.

Through CSVA, China will also work on industrial parks and towns in the country dedicated to the culture of eSports, with Zhongxian to the fore. The association will now seek to collaborate with investors who are prepared to provide funding for the development projects and facilities dedicated to eSports.
