Golden Guardians presented on Wednesday its roster for the NA LCS Academy League in a post on Twitter.

Alex “Xpecial” Chu, who is the most experienced player on this new team, will take the position of Support. He is the only player on the roster to come from the NA LCS, where he has played for Phoenix1.

Xpecial will play in the bottom lane along with AD Carry Clarence “Jurassiq” Mobansag, a former Team Gates player in the NA Challenger Series.

The lineup features top laner Thomas "Jenkins" Tran who was discovered at the 2017 NA Scouting Grounds.

Qin “Bobqin” Bo-yuan will be in the mid lane, and Nicholas “Potluck” Pollock will play in the jungle. In 2017, they were both substitutes for NA Challenger team eUnited.

The Spring Split of the Academy League, which is replacing the NA Challenger series this season, begins on Friday, January 19, 2018.
