By Stoyan Todorov Fortnite 02 May 2018 93 views

Fortnite’s developers Epic Games have been working around the clock to patch any breaches in the hull of its flagship battle royale game. However, every update seems to bring a new bugbear to fore that requires the attention of the developers.

According to the Trello discussion about Fortnite, there are a number of issues that need to be addressed in the upcoming patches, either in 3.7.0 or 4.0.0, depending on when Season 4 of the game is slated to kick off. Here is the list as translated from the board:

Players can walk through enemy’s structures

If an enemy is killed after having just finished building a structure, the new object will play no role in influencing the terrain, and players may simply walk through them as if they were not there.

Solution: Expected solution in the upcoming update.

Temporary fix: Do not cross structures where players have just died.

Recording Mode Broken for Xbox & PS4

Presently, some players on Xbox & PS4 are struggling to record their games. The so-called recording mode was introduced for Fornite to allow players to spectate their own games from multiple-angles and spot mistakes in their gameplay after the games.

Solution: Expected solution in the upcoming update.

The Game Crashes for Mobile

The game continues to crash on mobile phones.

Solution: Expected solution in the upcoming update.

Traps Fail to Trigger

Reports have stated that traps fail to trigger when placed next to elevators or doors unless the players walks through them a second time.

Solution: Developers are looking into the problem.

Temporary Fix: Avoid laying traps next to the specified objects.

Meteorites Drain FPS

Using the PS4 or Xbox Button May Drop You Out of a Party

If you are queued up to join a game and use the PS or Xbox button, you may be dropped out of the party while your team mates will join the game without you.

Solution: Developers are looking into the problem.

Temporary fix: Do not go to the home page while searching for a game.

Cannot Unmute Players While Crossplaying

Players cannot be unmuted on occasion while playing in crossplay.

Solution: More community feedback needed.

Xbox Sensitivity Issues

Sensitivity settings on Xbox can only be adjusted in whole numbers instead of decimals.

Solution: Developers are looking into the problem.
