UNIKRN BRUSHES UP ON PORTFOLIO WITH CHALLENGEME.GG

The world’s first eSports-only bookmaker Unikrn has added Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament & skirmishes platform ChallengeMe.GG (CME) to its assets. Unikrn CEO and eSports gambling ardent supporter Rahul Sood said that the two companies had been working for months to conclude a mutually beneficial deal.

'CME’s platform is beyond its competition, and with their technology and Unikrn’s userbase, endemic reach, brand partnerships and existing product lines — as well as UnikoinGold, the largest token in esports and gaming history — users are about to see a digital casual-competitive landscape well beyond anything to date conceived,' Sood had to say.

CME currently runs CS:GO events, but Dota 2 competitions will be added soon, with a number of features, such as open lobbies, direct challenge, competitive matchmaking, and others readily available to players across the United States and Europe.

The tie-up will also integrate the Unikrn Wallet into CME, allowing users to carry instant and free-of-charge transactions among themselves.

CME CEO Simon Seefeldt has said that the partnership will allow his company to benefit from Unikrn’s ICO and merge UKG’s ‘ecosystem and technology’ with its own offer, uniting thousands of fans of all skill levels.

Sood has been intent on bringing crypto betting in electronic sports for a while now. In a blog post, he writes:

'Remember, Unikrn has patent-pending technology on placing crypto bets on video game contests. Now it’s time for us to flex that IP, starting with the CME platform.'
