CHALLENGERMODE, DREAMHACK PARTNER ON TOURNAMENT PLATFORM
DreamHack has extended its partnership with Swedish tournament platform Challengermode. Officially, the latter will host all tournament action for DreamHack for a number of competitive titles including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Challengermode runs professional and non-professional events daily and pits players through an elaborate matchmaking system. It offers ladders and hosts pay-to-enter tournaments.
The platform will now also run DreamHack’s tournaments, tasked with registering competitors and managing the structure of the tournament. Challengermode will begin by hosting DreamHack’s PUBG tournament on 14 April.
DreamHack has been continually expanding its list of partnerships over the last few months to improve the overall eSports experience for pros and fans alike. The organisation will continue to maintain strong ties with streaming platform Twitch and champion eSports integrity through the company’s involvement in the Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC).
